Electronic Music Analog Synthesizer shop Les Indes from Berlin uploaded this long (almost 13 minutes) demo to YouTube.
The video mainly shows off the A-111 VCO and the (discontinued) Doepfer A-121 Multimode Filter...
Video: DOEPFER A-100 Modular System w Legacy Filter
" Featuring: High End VCO A-111 (running out of production), Multimode Filter A-121 (discontinued)"
" Hope the video is helpful.
Notes:
0:08 A-118 Noise -- A-148 Sample & Hold ( A-147 VCLFO as trigger) -- selfresonating A-108 VCF8 as Osc. -- A-199 SPRV
02:36 As before, but this time I send the wet (Reverb Out) and the dry (Mix Out, full Orig. signal)
into the A-114 Ring Mod..
05:36 A-110-1 VCO -- A-108-1 Filter (filter modulation with ADSR, triggered by A-161) -- A-131 VCA -- A-199
06:55 A-118 Noise + Random Volt -- A-108 VCF8
09:11 Arturia Microbrute (internal sequencer) -- A-199 Spring Reverb
Anton from DUBBHISM wrote in today to mention that he started a new series on his blog that will include Doepfer patches for the 'more advanced' wigglers...
In the first episode he explores VOSIM (VOice SIMulation), an oldschool sound synthesis-technique that can be used for designing voice-like, and even robot-like sounds.
Future posts will cover the areas of frequency multiplication, karplus strong, sync tricks etc...

In a short video Icaro Ferre shows what the A-106-5 12db multimode SEM Filter module can do in multiple modes, and with different resonance settings...
I have this module too, and I like it a lot.
The only thing i miss in this filter module is an extra CV input to control the resonance, just like the A-121 Multimode Filter or the other Oberheim filter, the A-122 24 dB Lowpass filter VCF3 have.
It's one of my favorite filters, so it's not really a surprise he likes it too...
Video: Doepfer A-124 Wasp Filter Simple Sweeps Demo.
"Being a video that shows the Doepfer Wasp Filter's character off on some simple square waves. Modular signal is processed with a tiny touch of UAD EMT-140 Plate Reverb to take the edge of its dryness. "
Felix from Germany (@Flixxx) has uploaded several highly interesting tutorial-videos last week, showing the more interesting/alternative/creative ways of using Eurorack modules.
They are not all about Doepfer, but he shows modules of all kinds of Eurorack brands and he does some nice and clear narration with it.
He even plans to do more of those quick looks in the future, so keep an eye on his YouTube channel.
Video 1: Doepfer A-160 Clock Divider as Sub-OSC/Frequency Divider (Eurorack Modular Synth Demo)
" A short video, showing the Doepfer A-160 Clock Divider Eurorack module being used as a frequency divider/square wave sub oscillator. This works by feeding the trigger input a VCO signal (either a square wave or saw wave) and using the division outputs (/2 /4 /8 etc.) as square wave VCO outputs. If you have any further questions, please post them below :) Thanks for watching!"
Video 2: Intellijel uVCF as Saw Wave VCO (Eurorack/Doepfer Modular Synth Demo)
" Another Modular Synthesizer video! This time I'm talking about how to use the Intellijel uVCF multimode filter module as a sine, saw and spike/rectified wave VCO. If you have any questions or comments, please post them below :) Thanks for watching!"
As most of you know, i bought a fully analog Korg Monotron -analogue ribbon synthesizer- a while ago.
I promised you to make a short demo of it as soon as i had the time, so here it is.
The Korg Monotron is a cheap (39 Euro) battery-powered synthesizer, but what a lot of fun i already had with this little thing.
It features one VCO, a real VCF (This true analog filter is taken from the classic MS-10 & MS-20 synthesizer) with Filter-Cutoff and Peak (resonance) Control.
An LFO with variable speed (and an LED that flashes in tandem) can be applied to the Pitch (VCO) or Filter(VCF)
*note: only the LFO>filter cutoff is shown in this video

Happy New-Year everybody!
I hope you all had a great holiday season...
I found this one on the web, but it's not really new...
Video: Magic Ceramic Theremin Lamp Doepfer A-178
" The first test of the Magic Ceramic
Theremin lamp.
It was developed as a peculiar piece for the opening of
the Exhibition of several ceramists in Gallery Artibrak. from November until 28th of December 2011.
A Theremin is normally step-less, but in this case an A-156 is used as a quantizer..
Small explanation for those who are not familiar:
In
this magic piece of ceramic two antenna's are integrated.
One antenna
for the volume and one for the pitch.
The instrument does not have to be
touched.
The volume can be controlled by your left hand (when
approaching it the volume increases), the pitch can be controlled by
your right hand (when approaching it, the pitch of the sound goes up).
By approaching the antenna's you are influencing the potential
difference.
Just like the antenna of your transistor radio which
functions well or not when approaching it.
The Magic Ceramic is
based on the original Theremin invented by Léon Theremin in 1919.
That
electronic instrument is step-less variable and very expressive.
It
sounds like an opera voice or violin.
This ceramic version of the
instrument has a much more variety than it's original.
You can make the
sound stepless or let it be quantized, so that you hear a real
tonescale/musical scale.
The sinus-tone of the Magic Ceramic is
quantized (chopped in pieces), and in the way it is presented now only
the Minor notes are heard. (like the black keys on a piano)
In this way
the steps between the notes are bigger and easier to distinguish.
Other
possibilities are just Major notes or the complete tonescale, quantized
or not.
There is also a small sampler added, so when you reach the
highest note a spoken voice can be heard."

You have probably seen this next video already somewhere on the web, but i thought it was a good idea to post it here too... just in case you missed it.
Video: A Short Guide to Sound Synthesis
" A brief guide to sound synthesis / how synthesisers (synthesizers) work. Using a Doepfer A-100 modular synthesiser, I demonstrate CV pitch and gate signals, oscillators, attenuators, mixers, ADSR envelope generators and filters."
Doepfer user, eurorack fanatic and PatchPierre supporter Hawklord2112 recorded a nice video explaining the basics of the Doepfer A-143-1 (Quad) Complex Envelope Generator /LFO module.
